The needs of our clients and the organisations we work with are of the upmost importance to us, we aspire to deliver the highest level of professional Respite Care available.
We have recently expanded our services to include two new custom built houses at Aberglasslyn to accommodate individuals in
need of respite.
The Team
Our staff are fully qualified and registered professionals to ensure the highest standard of care is received by our clients.
The range of expertise and skills of our staff include Registered Nurse/Midwife, Nutritionist, Herbalist, AIN's, Early Childhood Education, Paramedic and Disability Support Workers.
All meals are meticulously provided accordingly to client mealtime management plans with all produce sourced fresh locally.
Access
We provide outings for our clients in fully comprehensively insured vehicles, UCC are able to provide wheelchair transport.
We service all areas in the Upper and Lower Hunter, Lake Macquarie, Newcastle, Maitland, Cessnock, Kurri Kurri and Port Stephens.
The founding passion that drives Sandra is the loving care and respect for individuals with physical and intellectual disabilities, A belief that, universally, we are all entitled to live meaningful and fulfilled lives with the opportunity to grow and develop. To live our own lives with passion and to achieve our own individual goals. Sandra is an energetic supporter of the individual.
In her most recent project Sandra has bought this loving care, compassion and energy to building two special, purpose built, homes, in regional
Aberglasslyn, near Maitland/Newcastle.
These homes offer specialist support for the families in need of rest, relaxation and respite. This builds on her growing network of services including Host Family Respite and Community Access.
As a fully qualified AIN and Disability Support Worker Sandra has dedicated her entire working career to taking care of individuals in their time of need.
Sandra has excellent management skills and strong knowledge of the Disability Standards and sets a high standard of work practice engaging her carefully selected team to ensure they deliver and reflect the same values and standard of service.
In addition to suitable professional qualifications all UCC staff have current Australian Federal Police checks; Federal Working with Children checks; current Senior First Aid Certificates and current NSW Drivers Licenses.. All staff are involved in development and training on an ongoing and regular basis so that the latest practices are delivered to all clients. But more importantly, UCC staff are chosen for their dedication and passion for their work and the people they take care of.
